Squokkles is our little Quokka, who loves joining in on the fun in our videos.

You will meet his four friends too - Mia, Danny, Sue and Ollie.

Growing sums up what Little Music Church is about…

Growing in God through music and movement.

Music is great.

Music sparks interest. Music helps us learn new information and recall it. For centuries people have been using songs to teach the gospel to children.

Music is great but…

Add in MOVEMENT and you get something wonderful!

Children love to move.

Movement awakens their brain to learning. Movement brings joy, and we learn better if we are having fun. Combine the lyrics of a song with actions and memory-making EXPLODES.

Imagine a bunch of children listening to Growing while doing star jumps or lying on their backs with feet spinning wildly in the air. The song they are moving to contains Luke 2:52 “Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and favour with God and man.”

As these children grow older, whenever they star jump, or even think about wheelbarrows, what might they be reminded of?

That they are to grow like Jesus grew.

The heart of Little Music Church is for children to grow in the knowledge of God and his love for them,

to grow in their love for Him,

and to grow like Jesus grew.

And do so through music, movement and joy.
